I talked about hiking with a friend who also enjoys outdoor sports about how people have a different understanding of hiking. Some people think of it as an adventure and a hard journey, while others use it as a walk to relax. What kind of understanding and experiences do you have about hiking? Let everyone know in the comments!
This time we are exploring the hiking routes around the Royal Botanical Gardens (RBG).
Hidden Valley and Hendrie Vally are both very close and known as the unknown canyons in Burlington.

It was March in Canada, and the snow and ice had not melted yet. As soon as we stepped into the Hidden Valley hiking trail, we were forced to enter a state of skating. The road was full of ice, shining in the sun, which was quite hair-raising! We could only glide the whole way cautiously.
The weather was getting warmer, and the melting stream next to it was gurgling with joy, perhaps in a hurry to enter Lake Ontario.
The "Chunjiang Plumbing Duck Prophet" chanted by Su Shi would change to "Chunjiang Plumbing Goose Prophet" after arriving in Canada. The Canadian Goose can be regarded as one of Canada's mascots; you'll see them almost everywhere.
We left the Hidden Valley Trail and entered the Creek Side Trail. Unfortunately, the excitement brought about by the dangerous skating road had turned into panic as mud swamped the pathway due to the melted snow! The kids that were with us immediately lost their patience and wanted to return from the way we came.
When leading a team on foot, the most frustrating thing is that the teammates do not listen to commands when encountering difficulties and even leave on their own. Fortunately, after mutual compromises, we continue to move forward with the original plan.
After trekking in the mud for half an hour, we were pleasantly surprised to find a wooden plank road! The path took us to the N Bridle Trail and the Grindstone Marsh Trail, an empty wetland canyon. The plank road turns through the wetland like a giant snake. What better way to visit this wetland so close?
Walking on the plank road and looking around, there are mountains, waters, and patches of reeds. It is a perfect wetland for birds! In a few weeks, this will be a paradise for birdwatchers! Lu Yu’s travel friend couldn’t help saying to me: I can't wait to come again!

Hiking is like life; the only thing you can control is your attitude. During your hike, in addition to the occasional surprises, it is often challenging and boring. But the people who can appreciate the beautiful scenery are usually those who choose to move forward and have fun along the way!
Therefore, I am very fortunate that we chose to continue our hike and complete the exploration as originally planned.
This route is very suitable for the family and can be planned according to specific needs. For details, please pay attention to our WeChat platform and leave a message for consultation.
